woo woo spirit stuff

One of my friends is a reiki practitioner and jewelry maker who’s digging into the – what is it? lore? science? knowledge? – of chakras. She’s exposed me to basics: chakra locations, meanings, colors, that sort of thing. If you asked me about them, I’d say there could be some truth, or at least consciously thinking about a concept and then tying it metaphorically to a site of your body might help you manifest it, but it’s still a metaphor blah blah blah… I’d be skeptical, yet relativistic.
Last week I noticed that most of the clothing I’ve bought recently is green. Bright greens. Apple. Kelly. Lime. It’s a big change. And it occurs to me that I’m supporting my open heart (the heart chakra, which also represents exactly what I mean by open heartedness, is green). Interesting. What I say may be skeptical, but on some level the woo woo spirit stuff just makes sense.
